Delete your Runglob account
Last updated: 5 August 2026
This page is for Runglob (the app published on Google Play and the App Store, and the web app at app.runglob.com). Deleting your account removes you from the game permanently — journeys, arrivals and badges cannot be restored.
How to delete your account
- In the app (immediate): open Profile, tap Delete account, and confirm. Your account and all associated data are deleted right away.
- By email (no phone handy?): email hello@runglob.com with the subject "Delete my account", sent from the email address you sign in with — signing in is by email, so the address is the account. We confirm by reply and complete deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your account and email address.
- Your journeys, progress, city arrivals and passport history.
- All synced running activities, including data received from Strava.
- Your Strava connection and its stored tokens (syncing stops immediately).
- Badges, missions and streaks.
- Your entry on the beta list, if any.
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing tied to your account remains after deletion completes. Encrypted database backups that may contain your data expire automatically within 30 days.
- Support emails you exchanged with us can remain in our mailbox; say so in your request and we delete those too.
Deleting some data without closing your account
You can disconnect Strava at any time in the app or at strava.com/settings/apps, which stops all future syncing. If you also want already-synced activities removed while keeping your account and journeys, email hello@runglob.com and ask — same 30-day window.
